potd4cover
So I almost ignored posting it here >.< Peregrination of the Deliverer 4 is complete. You can purchase it at Indyplanet (the print version features a special bonus comic from my good friend ECKC) or you can just read the low-res version over at comicspace.

Work on PotD 5 will commence soon, but i’m hoping to do things a bit differently than so-far normally. You’ll see.

potd 4 page 11+12

couple more pages up and the story is …. getting less interesting, oh well. I can accept that. However I’m working on a script for another PotD sidestory that’s pretty crazy, in theory, maybe.

I have a couple of indie book reviews I need to write up and post here, sometime soon, just so you know.

Peregrination of the Deliverer Issue 4

Kay, issue 4 is on it’s way!

I just got the magnificent cover back from Mark and since some of the pages are ready to go, I decided to start uploading right away! I’ll upload a couple of pages every couple of weeks. Hopefully that’ll give me time to finish up the pages on my pc as well as set a pace for the ones I haven’t started yet. I still refuse to keep a real schedule.

Right then. Free comic book day has indeed passed us. However, don’t fret! If you head over to the christiancomics.net store and purchase any comic, dvd, or original artwork, from now until this friday, you’ll receive a free copy of Peregrination of the Deliverer 3! So head on over there and buy something that isn’t Peregrination of the Deliverer, because you’ll be gettin’ one of those anyway!

Decisive Origin 2007 art collection

Hey,
Gilded Providence is on hiatus until I make some actual headway editing the first book. If waiting irritates you, I invite complaints.

In the mean time, I’d like to turn your attention over to another artist, Laurie Thomas from Decisive Origin.

I’ve recently received a copy of her 2007 artbook, “Blue Fire” and if you’re into independent artbooks, you should probably check it out. Decisive Origin has lots of free web-manga and galleries so you’ll have a pretty good idea of the kind of art that’s inside the book. On the downside, this art collection “book” is really more of a magazine flier, the paper is flimsy and textured but, hurray! The print quality is great. It’s short, but it’s sweet as the art is highly stylized with strong emotional tones. It gives you a good taste of the art of Laurie Thomas, but I sure hope the books of future years have a bit more meat to them.

There are a couple other purchasable manga available from decisive origin; “Songstress of the Beautiful Sun”, which makes a great addition to the artbook. I highly recommend purchasing them together. As well as “Intricate!”, a new manga available for pre-order. I have complete confidence that it’ll be equally wonderful!
